"Dollars"

My new game, "Dollars," involves one contestant, big (fake) money, and questions ranging in difficulty. There's just one difference: the contestant has no idea as to what the difficulty level of each question is. The levels are in random order, with harder questions being worth more. The contestant has three chances to check his score at a certain point. Need an example? Here goes.

Host- Welcome to the show. One of the ten of you will have a chance to win up to 1 million dollars. But first, we will have our Brain Battle round. The names of five different presidents will appear on your screens. The first person to put them in the correct order will have the first chance to play. You will have an unlimited amount of attempts, but the first person to submit the CORRECT answer will play. Good luck. The names will appear when I finish reading them.

1)Rutherford B. Hayes
2)James Monroe
3)Warren G. Harding
4)James E. Carter
5)Dwight D. Eisenhower

Host- We have a winner! Here is the correct order.

2)James Monroe
1)Rutherford B. Hayes
3)Warren G. Harding
5)Dwight D. Eisenhower
4)James E. Carter

Congratulations! Let's play! What's your name?

Contestant- Dave Jones.

Host- Congratulations, Dave. You put the names in order in only 3.94 seconds. Now as you know, you could win up to 1 million dollars! Are you ready?

Contestant- I think so.

Host- Here is your first question.

What is the square root of 132.25?

A)10.5
B)11.25
C)11.5
D)12.75

Contestant- Hmm, this is hard. I'll go with B.

Host- Is that your last answer?

Contestant- Umm, yes.

Host- That is correct!! Let's let everyone in the audience and at home know how much he's won.
